Grant awarded to Sutton June 2018

A grant of £550 has been made to Sutton, St James, towards work to replace a badly worn gudgeon and associated bearings.  As the work has been already been completed, this grant has been paid immediately on ratification by the Guild Committee.  Interestingly, this church is the only one in the Chester Diocesan Guild that is not a listed building, so they are unfortunately unable to reclaim the VAT via the listed places of worship scheme.
