A grant of £1280 has been approved by the Guild Committee for repair works to Mottram-in-Longdendale, St Michael. This is the first application the church has made to help remedy the issues they are facing with the frame, and the grant is towards the cost of Stage One of a multi-stage project which will ensure the future of the installation.
The work has already been completed as it was emergency repairs, and as such the grant has been paid directly to the church. We look forward to receiving a further application to the BRF for Stage Two works.
