The most important part of bell ringing is to ring for Sunday service, but as a society we support each other in a variety of ways. We are an active society with plenty of ringing and social activities. We have regular practices around the branch (see the list of towers and practice nights under the towers tab on the home page). All ringers are welcome to come and join us at any of our events.
If you are interested in learning to ring church bells you would be made most welcome at one of our towers, where you would be taught to handle a bell. Please see the ‘About Bell Ringing’ link on the home page for more information.
Students coming to Chester are particularly welcome, both established ringers and those who would like to learn. Read about the different towers in which you can ring and look forward to belonging to a county-wide network of bellringers.
