Outcome of Crewe Viability Report awaited July 2018

Crewe and the South Branch are awaiting the outcome of a Viability Report commissioned by Cheshire East council, which is investigating the potential future uses for the site.  This report will help determine whether there is a future for the bell installation and its restoration.  This report is eagerly awaited, as some minor works are in the planning stages to enable the bells to ring out for a strictly limited time later this year to coincide with a national event… more details on that to follow if and when they are finalised.
