It is with great sadness that we report the death of Geoff Edwards, ringer at Audlem and Life member of the Chester Guild.
The funeral is on Friday 17th May at 2pm – Audlem Church. Ringers and friends welcome.

An update from Chris Hughes:

Geoff had a heart attack and died last week.  He’d been ringing in Audlem since 1962, and rang 1488 peals.

The funeral will be on Friday 17 May at 2pm at St James Church, Audlem, followed by burial at the Cemetery and refreshments at the Lord Combermere (opposite the church).  The bells will be rung open, in celebration of his life.  All ringers welcome.
There will be parking in both the main village car park on the Nantwich road and in the Turnpike Field, where the road from Market Drayton comes into the village.  Both are about 150m from the church.
Please pass the details on to other ringers in your area.
Regards
Chris
