Grappenhall are now getting near to their appeal total of £175,000. In order to preserve their quoted costs from the bell founders, they have had to place an order by the end of June. This they did which gets Grappenhall into the bell founders schedule of bells to be cast, the provisional casting date being January 2019.
Whilst they have sufficient funds to commit to the bell founders work, they still have to fund the substantial clock work and all the electrical work, a complete re-wire of the tower.
They still have some small Grant applications outstanding and have just received a Grant from the Central Council, BUT they still welcome donations to help us reach their target.
