Helen S Mitchell of Chester died on Thursday 23 November. Helen was a keen Chester ringer all her life and tower captain at Handbridge from 1984-2008. Her energy and enthusiasm will be sorely missed. The funeral will take place at 1.30pm Thursday 14 December at St Mary’s Handbridge, Chester. The service is followed by cremation at Blacon crematorium at 14.40. Refreshments will be available between 15.00 and 17.30 in St Mary’s Centre, Handbridge.
The bells will be available from 12.30 to 1.10pm and 2.30-3.30pm. If anyone wants to ring please notify Fiona Harrison in advance. Instead of flowers, donations can be made to Macmillan or the Dogs Trust.
