It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Reverend John Orme, a ringer from Runcorn for many years. He rang many peals for the Guild across the country, and is recorded on most of the peal boards in Runcorn tower.
In his last communication with the tower he expressed his fond memories of ringing with the Guild, and donations from friends and family at the funeral were given to the ongoing Runcorn bell restoration project, for which the ringers send their thanks and their condolences to the family.
