Sad to announce that Reverend Canon Walter ‘Stanley’ Walker, father of Christina Brewster, has died.
Rev’d Canon Walker was Rector at Bromborough 1966 – 1977 (where Christina learnt to ring) and Rector at St Hilary’s Wallasey from 1976 until his retirement in 1976.

Peacefully passed away in hospital in Essex on 12th October 2018 aged 97 years.
Stanley was ordained as priest in Liverpool Cathedral in 1945.
Beloved husband of Anne, loving father of Christina and Alex and grandfather of Gerard and Kristin.
Funeral Service to be held on Friday 9th November 2018 at St James Church, New Brighton at 11am followed by committal at Blacon Cemetery.
