The Guild 8-bell striking competition is at St. Bertoline’s church, Barthomley (8, 13-1-14) on Saturday 15th April 2023 starting at 11.00 am.
The test piece for the Guild 8-bell striking competition in April 2023 will be a very musical 210 change touch of Middlesex Bob Triples containing ‘Queens’ and lots of ‘468’ roll-ups. Middlesex Bob Triples is not too challenging and is essentially the work of bob doubles with double dodging 6-7 down and 6-7 up either side of the four blows in fifths; bobs and singles are the same as for Plain Bob Triples.
