Langley lecture on bell founding. Wednesday 7th March at 7.45 pm The speaker is Robert Bracegirdle. Robert was for 13 years a tour guide to Taylors bell Foundry.
The Langley lectures are a series run by the Langley Methodist chapel with the aim of bringing people together to learn more about our locality and our world.
They are held in the Schoolroom the Methodist church in the middle of the village. The postcode is SK11 0BU. Langley is a village just east of Sutton, about 3 miles SE of Macclesfield.
The lectures are open to all; a donation of £3 is asked per head; once the speaker’s expenses are covered, proceeds go to charities supported by the Chapel. In the past these have included the E C Hospice, Rossendale Trust and Just drop In. There is a small car park but there is on street parking available.
