Our annual January pub lunch and walk will take place on Saturday 19th January, starting with open ringing at St Edward the Confessor, Leek (10, 18.5cwt) from 11:00am. Lunch will be at The Roebuck, Derby Street (ST13 5AB) and will be followed by a walk of around 4 miles. If you are planning to come, please email Edd as soon as possible so that we can give the pub an idea of numbers.
Postcode for the tower is ST13 6AB. It is on the A523, Stockwell Street, and there are several car parks nearby and some on-street parking. The nearest car parks are on St Edward St, High Street and Market Place, though only High Street (ST13 5DZ) allows you to stay for more than 3 hours. Another is Vicarage Road (ST13 6AS) which is a 10 minute walk away.
Please bring good strong boots or wellies, as the walk is likely to be muddy!
