Every year the Ringing World National Youth Contest (RWNYC) brings together young ringers from across the country for a day of ringing fun culminating in a competition involving teams of 8. The 2018 contest held in London attracted 28 teams with 224 young people of all abilities.
The 2019 competition on 6th July is in Liverpool. We are interested in seeing if there are any young people who would be interested in forming a band to enter. It is open to those aged under 19 on 31 st August 2019. While the emphasis is on having a fun time at various towers in and around Liverpool, it would be necessary to commit to a number of practices and especially to be available on the day so as to avoid letting the others down. As far as the competition goes it is either rounds and call changes on 8 or there is a separate trophy for change ringing.
