The objectives for ringers are to learn new methods or reinforce a particular one they are in the process of mastering. As always, we will try and cater for all levels, so expect call changes, Plain hunt, Plain Bob, Grandsire, Stedman, and the usual favourites. Please encourage your ringers to come and have a go, we are fast approaching the 6-bell striking competition (April 21st) and this is an excellent opportunity to hone those striking skills!
Ringers usually retire to the local pub after ringing, but as The Swan is unlikely to have reopened by then, you’ll have to find out on the night which pub has been chosen for our visit.
